Gustav Birch, Marco Sørensen and Jens Reno Møller were a purely Danish driver crew in the Danish team, GMB Motorsport. The team was of course a favorite among the thousands of Danish fans on the track, but unfortunately they could not enjoy them for long. After only 2 hours they were involved in a collision between several cars after a misunderstanding under a yellow flag and the car was too damaged to continue.
