HRH Prince Joachim participated in the Royal Pro/Am race for the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix in his Lotus Cortina with German Jochen Mass as co-driver. They were up against some somewhat newer and more potent cars such as the Ford Escort and BMW 2002, but made a good showing in the two heats.
