Marco Sørensen og Nicki Thiim drove for ComToYou Racing in 2024. The two Danes showed their class when the team's Aston Martin stayed in the fight for victory during a heavy rainstorm during the night, while many competitors made mistakes in the difficult conditions.
The end of the race was particularly dramatic when the leading Ferrari was blocked by a competitor in the pits, allowing the 'Dane Train' to take the lead. The race was by no means decided, but they held the lead to the finish and were able to take the victory with a slim lead of just half a minute.
Although the two Danes have been racing together for many years, it was the first time they had won a 24-hour race together.
